INTERPRETING OPPORTUNITIES
Are you interested in becoming a part time Medical
Interpreter? HLS is always open to reviewing resumes
of professional bi-lingual individuals interested
in becoming medical interpreters and translators.
Qualifications:
Professional,
articulate and punctual individual
Motivated
personality & willingness to develop a high
level of expertise in medical interpreting
Proficiency
in English and at least 1 other foreign language
Must
have own transportation for travel to various
job sites (local hospitals and medical centers)
Must
have flexible hours available: Monday - Friday,
8am - 5pm
Basic
understanding of medical terminology
Proof
of at least 40hrs of professional training in
Medical Interpretation

Interpreter Training Course.
For those who do not have previous Medical Interpretation
training, a Medical
Interpreter Training Course
is available through our agency.

Which
national certification program is right for you?
We could not be happier that medical interpretation
is on its way to become a nationally accredited
profession! Both the Certification Commission for
Healthcare Interpreters and the National Board of
Certification for Medical Interpreters are now offering
the written medical interpreter exam to interpreters
of all languages. Each program, however, is slightly
